So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was affrighted, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man; for the vision belongeth to the time of the end.Now as he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face toward the ground; but he touched me, and set me upright.

But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this might be.

He saw in a vision openly, as it were about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming in unto him, and saying to him, Cornelius.And he, fastening his eyes upon him, and being affrighted, said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are gone up for a memorial before God.

And here men that die receive tithes; but there one, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
