Now while they were telling these things, Jesus Himself suddenly stood in their midst and* said to them,“ Peace be to you.”

Later He appeared to the eleven disciples themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reprimanded them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen from the dead.

Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.

Eight days later His disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus* came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said,“ Peace be to you.”

If the house is worthy, see that your blessing of peace comes upon it. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace.

Now when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were together due to fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and* said to them,“ Peace be to you.”And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord.So Jesus said to them again,“ Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”And when He had said this, He breathed on them and* said to them,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.”

I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners,

John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne,

And whatever house you enter, first say,‘ Peace be to this house.’

These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!

and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
