He asked them,“ What are you discussing so intently as you walk along?” They stopped short, sadness written across their faces.

耶稣问他们：“你们一路上彼此谈论的这些，到底是什么事呢？”他们就停住，面带愁容。

耶穌對他們說：「你們走路彼此談論的是甚麼事呢？」他們就站住，臉上帶着愁容。

耶穌問他們說：『你們走路的時候，彼此計較的這些事是甚麼事呢？』他們就站着，面帶愁容。

耶穌問他們：「你們一路上彼此談論的這些，到底是什麼事呢？」他們就停住，面帶愁容。

耶穌謂之曰、爾行時、互論者何耶、二人止步、有憂色、

耶穌曰、爾行時、互論何事、而有憂色也、

耶穌問曰、爾行路面有憂色、互論何事、

耶穌問曰：『爾等載行載言、所談何時？』二人駐足、面呈憂色、

He asked them,“ What are you discussing together as you walk along?” They stood still, their faces downcast.

Jesus asked them,“ What are you talking about as you walk along?” They stood still, and their faces were sad.

And he said to them,“ What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?” And they stood still, looking sad.

Then he asked them,“ What is this dispute that you’re having with each other as you are walking?” And they stopped walking and looked discouraged.

And He said to them,“ What are these words that you are exchanging with one another as you are walking?” And they came to a stop, looking sad.

And He said to them,“ What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?”

And he said unto them, What communications are these that ye have one with another, as ye walk? And they stood still, looking sad.

Then He asked them,“ What is this dispute that you’re having with each other as you are walking?” And they stopped walking and looked discouraged.

And he said unto them, What manner of communications[ are] these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

Then he said to them,“ What are these matters you are discussing so intently as you walk along?” And they stood still, looking sad.

He said to them,“ What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?”

I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy.It will be like a woman suffering the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives way to joy because she has brought a new baby into the world.So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.

Instead, you grieve because of what I’ve told you.

He said to him,“ Walk through the streets of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of all who weep and sigh because of the detestable sins being committed in their city.”Then I heard the Lord say to the other men,“ Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity!Kill them all— old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin right here at the Temple.” So they began by killing the seventy leaders.
