眾力言曰：『煽動民眾、傳教猶太全境、發自加利利、周遊至此。』

眾益奮曰、彼搖動庶民、訓誨徧猶太、始自加利利以至於此、

眾奮呼曰、彼搖動民、傳教徧猶太、自加利利至此、

眾更極口訟曰、彼搖惑人民、傳教於猶太遍地、自迦利利至此、

But they insisted,“ He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

But they kept it up. They said,“ His teaching stirs up the people all over Judea. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

But they were urgent, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee even to this place.”

Then they became insistent.“ But he is causing riots by his teaching wherever he goes— all over Judea, from Galilee to Jerusalem!”

But they kept insisting,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where he started even to here.”

But they kept on insisting, saying,“ He is stirring up the people, teaching all over Judea, starting from Galilee, as far as this place!”

But they were the more fierce, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.”

But they were the more urgent, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Judæa, and beginning from Galilee even unto this place.

But they kept insisting,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where He started even to here.”

And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

But they persisted in saying,“ He incites the people by teaching throughout all Judea. It started in Galilee and ended up here!”

But they insisted, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.”

如望既被逮、耶穌返加利利、傳天主之福音曰：

耶穌徧遊加利利、施訓會堂中、講天國福音、治民間諸疾；

又次日、耶穌赴加利利、適遇斐理伯、諭之曰：『從予！』

是為耶穌顯靈蹟之始、行於加利利之嘉納村；聲譽日著、門徒乃信焉。

法利塞人應之曰：『汝亦加利利人耶？汝試一檢群經、應知加利利非出先知之地也！』

眾厲聲狂呼、自掩其耳、蠭擁而前、

或曰：『斯乃基督！』或曰：『基督豈能出於加利利乎？

眾乃大呼曰：『去之！去之！釘之於十字架上！』比辣多曰：『吾可釘死爾之王耶？』司祭長應曰：『凱撒而外、吾更無王！』

公會同人聞言皆怒、意欲殺之；

其時爭論甚烈、千總恐葆樂為眾所裂、乃調兵自眾中攫之出、而攜之入營。

自天降佑。莫使併吞。敵人肆虐。祈爾施恩。

耶穌既聞如望被逮、乃退至加利利。嗣又離納匝勒而寓居葛法農。其地濱海、毗連西布倫、吶大苓。此亦所以應驗先知意灑雅之言云：『西布倫、吶大呤、地濱海、約但外；加利利、異邦地、厥民處暗中、竟得睹大明；向居死蔭下、倏見曙光臨。』

眾聞是語對司諦文痛心疾首、忿恚滋甚。

比辣多見無濟、且恐民眾生變、乃當眾取水盥手曰：『此義者之血、我無染焉、爾自承之。』

喉焦如礫兮舌貼齶。身被委棄兮轉溝壑。

呼籲兮力盡。喉舌兮焦乾。俟主兮不至。望眼兮欲穿。

今大難已臨而援手無人兮。吾主寧能捐棄而不顧。健牡紛紛兮。圍我周匝。來自巴珊兮。洶洶相逼。

耶穌充滿神德而歸加利利、聲名洋溢乎四境。施訓會堂中、眾人莫不頌揚。

自如望傳洗禮以還、納匝勒人耶穌之事、已自加利利傳布猶太全境、爾等亦諒有所聞。

耶穌方辭出、經生及法利塞人積怨既深、迫之彌甚、激使多言、

眾更呶呶不休、厲聲要求釘之於十字架上。聲勢洶洶、難以理喻。
