But they were urgent, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee even to this place.”

But they insisted,“ He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

But they kept it up. They said,“ His teaching stirs up the people all over Judea. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

Then they became insistent.“ But he is causing riots by his teaching wherever he goes— all over Judea, from Galilee to Jerusalem!”

But they kept insisting,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where he started even to here.”

But they kept on insisting, saying,“ He is stirring up the people, teaching all over Judea, starting from Galilee, as far as this place!”

But they were the more fierce, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.”

But they were the more urgent, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Judæa, and beginning from Galilee even unto this place.

But they kept insisting,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where He started even to here.”

And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

But they persisted in saying,“ He incites the people by teaching throughout all Judea. It started in Galilee and ended up here!”

But they insisted, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.”

Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God,

And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him,“ Follow me.”

This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

They replied,“ Are you from Galilee too? Search and see that no prophet arises from Galilee.”

But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together at him.

Others said,“ This is the Christ.” But some said,“ Is the Christ to come from Galilee?

They cried out,“ Away with him, away with him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them,“ Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered,“ We have no king but Caesar.”

When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them.

And when the dissension became violent, the tribune, afraid that Paul would be torn to pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him away from among them by force and bring him into the barracks.

My soul is in the midst of lions; I lie down amid fiery beasts— the children of man, whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.

Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee.And leaving Nazareth he went and lived in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali,so that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:“ The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.”

Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him.

So when Pilate saw that he was gaining nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying,“ I am innocent of this man’s blood; see to it yourselves.”

For dogs encompass me; a company of evildoers encircles me; they have pierced my hands and feet—

More in number than the hairs of my head are those who hate me without cause; mighty are those who would destroy me, those who attack me with lies. What I did not steal must I now restore?

Many bulls encompass me; strong bulls of Bashan surround me;they open wide their mouths at me, like a ravening and roaring lion.

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him went out through all the surrounding country.And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed:

As he went away from there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to press him hard and to provoke him to speak about many things,

But they were urgent, demanding with loud cries that he should be crucified. And their voices prevailed.
