眾更極口訟曰、彼搖惑人民、傳教於猶太遍地、自迦利利至此、

眾力言曰：『煽動民眾、傳教猶太全境、發自加利利、周遊至此。』

But they insisted,“ He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

But they kept it up. They said,“ His teaching stirs up the people all over Judea. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

But they were urgent, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee even to this place.”

Then they became insistent.“ But he is causing riots by his teaching wherever he goes— all over Judea, from Galilee to Jerusalem!”

But they kept insisting,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where he started even to here.”

But they kept on insisting, saying,“ He is stirring up the people, teaching all over Judea, starting from Galilee, as far as this place!”

But they were the more fierce, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.”

But they were the more urgent, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Judæa, and beginning from Galilee even unto this place.

But they kept insisting,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where He started even to here.”

And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

But they persisted in saying,“ He incites the people by teaching throughout all Judea. It started in Galilee and ended up here!”

But they insisted, saying,“ He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.”

約翰被逮捕以後，耶穌來到加利利，傳神的福音，

耶穌走遍全加利利，在他們的會堂裡教導人，傳天國的福音，並且使民中各樣的疾病和各樣的症狀痊癒。

又過了一天，耶穌決定前往加利利地區。他找到腓力，對他說：「你跟從我！」

耶穌在加利利的迦拿行了這頭一件神蹟，顯明了他的榮耀，他的門徒們就信了他。

他們回答說：「你也不會是加利利人吧？你去查一查看，先知是不會從加利利興起的！」

於是他們大聲喊叫，摀著耳朵，一齊向他衝過去，

另有的說：「這個人就是基督。」還有的卻說：「難道基督會出自加利利嗎？

他們就大聲喊叫：「除掉他！除掉他！把他釘上十字架！」彼拉多問：「我可以把你們的王釘上十字架嗎？」祭司長們回答：「除了凱撒，我們沒有王！」

議會的人聽了，勃然大怒，就想要殺了他們。

爭執越來越激烈，千夫長擔心保羅會被他們撕碎，就命令軍隊下去，把保羅從他們當中搶出來，帶回營樓裡。

我的性命在獅子中間，我躺臥在吞滅人的世人當中；他們的牙齒是長矛和箭矢，他們的舌頭是銳利的刀劍。

耶穌聽說約翰被逮捕了，就退到加利利地區。後來，他離開拿撒勒，來到西布倫和拿弗他利境內，住在湖邊的迦百農。這是為要應驗那藉著先知以賽亞所說的話：「西布倫地、拿弗他利地，沿湖的路，約旦河的對岸，外邦人的加利利——那坐在黑暗中的民眾看到了大光；那坐在死亡之地和死亡陰影中的人們，曙光為他們升起。」

他們聽了這些話就勃然大怒，向司提反咬牙切齒。

彼拉多知道自己無濟於事，反而騷亂倒要發生，就拿水在眾人面前洗手，說：「流這人的血，罪不在我，你們自己看著辦吧！」

群狗圍繞我，一夥惡黨包圍我，他們刺穿我的雙手、我的雙腳；

無故恨我的人，比我的頭髮還多；無理與我為敵、要除盡我的人，實在強盛。我沒有搶奪什麼，竟然必須償還！

許多公牛圍繞我，巴珊的壯牛圍困我。他們向我張大了口，如同撕抓吼叫的獅子。

耶穌帶著聖靈的能力回到加利利，他的消息傳遍了周圍所有的地區。他在他們的會堂裡教導人，受到所有人的讚揚。

你們知道在約翰所傳講的洗禮以後，那從加利利開始，在猶太全地所發生的事，

耶穌從那裡出來，法利賽人和經文士們就開始激烈地敵視他，還盤問他許多問題，

他們催逼彼拉多，大聲要求把耶穌釘上十字架，他們的喊聲終於得勝了。
