Jesus called out with a loud voice,“ Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

眾方投石、司諦文呼籲天主曰：『乞主耶穌納予神魂！』

耶穌既嘗醯、乃曰：『成矣！』遂俯首而逝

見詬不反、見辱不校、將一切付諸公平主宰之手、

耶穌大聲而呼曰：『伊理伊理！拉瑪撒巴大尼！』譯言『主兮主兮、胡為棄我如遺！』旁立者聞之、以為呼伊理藹也。一人趨前、以醯漬海絨、束諸葦端。使嘗之、且曰：「吾儕且稍俟、以觀伊理藹果來解其懸否。」耶穌大聲一呼、而氣遂絕。其時殿中帳幔、自上至下、中裂為二。適有巴總在側、見耶穌臨終時情形、乃曰：『斯人真天主子也！』又有數婦、從遠望之、內有瑪達蘭之瑪麗、雅谷伯與若西之母瑪利亞、及沙羅梅、皆在加利利時恆隨耶穌左右、而為供奉者也。其他諸婦、亦隨耶穌同入耶路撒冷者。

約申初耶穌大聲呼曰：『伊理伊理、拉瑪撒巴大呢！』即言：『主兮主兮、胡為棄我如遺！』旁立數人聞之、則曰：『呼伊理藹也。』中一人趨至、以海絨漬醯、束之葦端。以飲耶穌。他人曰：『姑待、試觀伊理藹果來援彼否。』耶穌又復長嘯一聲、而氣遂絕。霎時殿幔徹上徹下自裂為二。地震石裂、諸塚自開、而已故諸聖、多有甦者。迨耶穌復活後出自塚中、入於聖邑、人多見之。巴總及同守耶穌者、見地震及所歷諸事、皆惴焉而懼曰：『斯真天主子也。』自加利利從耶穌而供事之眾婦、時亦遙立而觀；內有瑪達蘭之瑪麗、雅谷伯若瑟之母瑪利亞、及慈伯德二子之母。
