It shall be the work of a skillful workman.You shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, on four sockets of silver.You shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and shall bring the ark of the covenant in there within the veil. The veil shall separate the holy place from the most holy for you.

After the second veil was the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, of which things we can’t speak now in detail.Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services,but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself, and for the errors of the people.The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;

For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of separation,having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace,and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it.He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.
