耶穌曰：『父乎、眾不知其所為、祈寬赦之。』

Jesus said,“ Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, (niv)

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. (niv)

Then he fell on his knees and cried out,“ Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. (niv)

But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.“ He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.”When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. (niv)

None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (niv)

“ But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. (niv)

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. (niv)

They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment. (niv)

‘ This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father.” When their message came to him, Joseph wept. (niv)

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. (niv)

The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said,“ Surely this was a righteous man.”When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away. (niv)

When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.“ Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another.“ Let’s decide by lot who will get it.” This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said,“ They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.” So this is what the soldiers did. (niv)

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. (niv)

“ The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. (niv)

And they crucified him. Dividing up his clothes, they cast lots to see what each would get. (niv)

Jesus answered,“ You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.” (niv)

In the camp they grew envious of Moses and of Aaron, who was consecrated to the Lord.The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it buried the company of Abiram.Fire blazed among their followers; a flame consumed the wicked.At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped an idol cast from metal.They exchanged their glorious God for an image of a bull, which eats grass.They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt,miracles in the land of Ham and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.So he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to keep his wrath from destroying them. (niv)
