眾曰：『更需何證、證出其口、而吾儕親聞之矣。』

And they said, What further need have we of witness? for we ourselves have heard from his own mouth.

Then they said,“ Why do we need further testimony? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips!”

Then the high priest tore his clothing to show his horror and said,“ Blasphemy! Why do we need other witnesses? You have all heard his blasphemy.What is your verdict?”“ Guilty!” they shouted.“ He deserves to die!”
