But he denied it.“ Woman, I don’t know him,” he said.

But Peter denied it.“ Woman,” he said,“ I don’t even know him!”

But he denied it:“ Woman, I don’t know Him!”

And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

But Peter denied it:“ Woman, I don’t know him!”

He denied Jesus, saying,“ Woman, I don’t know him.”

The God of our fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, has done this. God has brought glory to Jesus, who serves him. But you handed Jesus over to be killed. Pilate had decided to let him go. But you spoke against Jesus when he was in Pilate’s court.You spoke against the Holy and Blameless One. You asked for a murderer to be set free instead.

So I put up with everything for the good of God’s chosen people. Then they also can be saved. Christ Jesus saves them. He gives them glory that will last forever.Here is a saying you can trust. If we died with him, we will also live with him.If we don’t give up, we will also rule with him. If we say we don’t know him, he will also say he doesn’t know us.

Again Peter said no. At that exact moment a rooster began to crow.

But what if someone says in front of others that they don’t know me? I will say in front of my Father who is in heaven that I don’t know them.

Meanwhile, Simon Peter was still standing there warming himself by the fire. So they asked him,“ You aren’t one of Jesus’ disciples too, are you?” He said,“ I am not.”

But what about someone who says in front of others that he doesn’t know me? I, the Son of Man, will say in front of God’s angels that I don’t know him.

But Simon replied,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”Jesus answered,“ I tell you, Peter, you will say three times that you don’t know me. And you will do it before the rooster crows today.”

But in front of all of them, Peter said he was not.“ I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said.

So turn away from your sins. Turn to God. Then your sins will be wiped away. The time will come when the Lord will make everything new.
