我天天同你们在殿里，你们不下手拿我。现在却是你们的时候，黑暗掌权了。”

我天天和你们一起在圣殿里，你们没有抓我。但现在正是黑暗当权、你们得势的时候了！”

予日在殿中與爾眾俱、而爾未曾執予、惟今乃爾曹之時、黑闇乘權矣。』

Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour— when darkness reigns.”

Why didn’t you arrest me in the Temple? I was there every day. But this is your moment, the time when the power of darkness reigns.”

“ Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say?‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.And He said to them,“ It is written,‘ My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a‘ den of thieves.’”Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying,“ Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant

Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them.But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet.

Now some of them from Jerusalem said,“ Is this not He whom they seek to kill?But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ?

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said,“ By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?”

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet.Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,“ Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

Then the Philistines took him and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza. They bound him with bronze fetters, and he became a grinder in the prison.However, the hair of his head began to grow again after it had been shaven.Now the lords of the Philistines gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice. And they said:“ Our god has delivered into our hands Samson our enemy!”When the people saw him, they praised their god; for they said:“ Our god has delivered into our hands our enemy, The destroyer of our land, And the one who multiplied our dead.”So it happened, when their hearts were merry, that they said,“ Call for Samson, that he may perform for us.” So they called for Samson from the prison, and he performed for them. And they stationed him between the pillars.Then Samson said to the lad who held him by the hand,“ Let me feel the pillars which support the temple, so that I can lean on them.”Now the temple was full of men and women. All the lords of the Philistines were there— about three thousand men and women on the roof watching while Samson performed.Then Samson called to the Lord, saying,“ O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!”And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left.Then Samson said,“ Let me die with the Philistines!” And he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life.

That the triumphing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment?

Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them,“ Why have you not brought Him?”
