So he said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you will not fall into temptation!”

謂之曰、何寢乎、起而禱、免入於試、○

謂之曰、何寢也、且起祈禱、免入誘惑、○

謂之曰：『胡為睡耶？起而禱！庶免陷誘。』

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up! Pray that you won’t fall into sin when you are tempted.”

and he said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation.”

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up and pray, so that you won’t fall into temptation.”

and He said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you do not come into temptation.”

Then He said to them,“ Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.”

and said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.

“ Why are you sleeping?” He asked them.“ Get up and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation.”

And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

and said to them,“ Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

When he came to the place, he said to them,“ Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”

“ But be on your guard so that your hearts are not weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of this life, and that day close down upon you suddenly like a trap.For it will overtake all who live on the face of the whole earth.But stay alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that must happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

The ship’s captain approached him and said,“ What are you doing asleep? Get up! Cry out to your god! Perhaps your god might take notice of us so that we might not die!”

Permit no sleep to your eyes or slumber to your eyelids.Deliver yourself like a gazelle from a snare, and like a bird from the trap of the fowler.Go to the ant, you sluggard; observe its ways and be wise!It has no commander, overseer, or ruler,yet it prepares its food in the summer; it gathers at the harvest what it will eat.How long, you sluggard, will you lie there? When will you rise from your sleep?A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to relax,and your poverty will come like a robber, and your need like an armed man.
