When He came to the place, He said to them,“ Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

On reaching the place, he said to them,“ Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”

When they reached the place, Jesus spoke.“ Pray that you won’t fall into sin when you are tempted,” he said to them.

And when he came to the place, he said to them,“ Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples,“ Sit here while I go and pray over there.”And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.Then He said to them,“ My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying,“ O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter,“ What! Could you not watch with Me one hour?Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying,“ O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.Then He came to His disciples and said to them,“ Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.”

Could you not watch one hour?Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words.And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him.Then He came the third time and said to them,“ Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.”

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.And He said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.”

Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Uphold my steps in Your paths, That my footsteps may not slip.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying,“ Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.

Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches— Feed me with the food allotted to me;Lest I be full and deny You, And say,“ Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God.

Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.Hold me up, and I shall be safe, And I shall observe Your statutes continually.
