Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives. His disciples followed him.

Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him.

Each day Jesus taught at the temple. And each evening he went to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives.

When Jesus had finished praying, he left with his disciples. They crossed the Kidron Valley. On the other side there was a garden. Jesus and his disciples went into it.Judas knew the place. He was going to hand Jesus over to his enemies. Jesus had often met in that place with his disciples.

As they all approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage. It was on the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent out two disciples.

Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courtyard. He looked around at everything. But it was already late. So he went out to Bethany with the 12 disciples.

Then they sang a hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.

Jesus and his disciples went to a place called Gethsemane. Jesus said to them,“ Sit here while I pray.”He took Peter, James and John along with him. He began to be very upset and troubled.“ My soul is very sad. I feel close to death,” he said to them.“ Stay here. Keep watch.”

When evening came, Jesus and his disciples left the city.

Then they sang a hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.

Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, across from the temple. Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him a question in private.

Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane. He said to them,“ Sit here while I go over there and pray.”He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him. He began to be sad and troubled.Then he said to them,“ My soul is very sad. I feel close to death. Stay here. Keep watch with me.”
