The disciples said,“ See, Lord, here are two swords.”“ That’s enough!” he replied.

And they said,“ Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And he said to them,“ It is enough.”

“ Look, Lord,” they replied,“ we have two swords among us.”“ That’s enough,” he said.

“ Lord,” they said,“ look, here are two swords.”“ That is enough!” he told them.

They said,“ Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them,“ It is enough.”

So they said,“ Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them,“ It is enough.”

And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

“ Lord,” they said,“ look, here are two swords.”“ Enough of that!” He told them.

And they said, Lord, behold, here[ are] two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

So they said,“ Look, Lord, here are two swords.” Then he told them,“ It is enough.”

Then Jesus said to him,“ Put your sword back into its place, for all those who take the sword will die by the sword.Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that it must be so?”

Jesus answered,“ My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here.”

When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him,“ Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh;for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace,above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints:

But since we belong to the day, let’s be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
