But he said to Him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death!”

伯鐸祿對曰：『主乎、吾即偕子入獄、同子致命、亦所不辭。』

But he replied,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”

But Simon replied,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”

Peter said to him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death.”

Peter said,“ Lord, I am ready to go to prison with you, and even to die with you.”

“ Lord,” he told him,“ I’m ready to go with you both to prison and to death.”

But he said to Him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.”

And he said unto him, Lord, with thee I am ready to go both to prison and to death.

“ Lord,” he told Him,“ I’m ready to go with You both to prison and to death!”

And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

But Peter said to him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

He said to him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

But Peter said to Him,“ Even if they all fall away, yet I will not!”

But Peter repeatedly said insistently,“ Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And they all were saying the same thing as well.

But Peter replied to Him,“ Even if they all fall away because of You, I will never fall away!”Jesus said to him,“ Truly I say to you that this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.”Peter* said to Him,“ Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” All the disciples said the same thing as well.

except that the Holy Spirit solemnly testifies to me in every city, saying that chains and afflictions await me.But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of God’s grace.

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

But Jesus replied,“ You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?” They* said to Him,“ We are able.”

“ The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?

And He* came to the disciples and* found them sleeping, and He* said to Peter,“ So, you men could not keep watch with Me for one hour?Keep watching and praying, so that you do not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

And He* came and* found them sleeping, and* said to Peter,“ Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep watch for one hour?Keep watching and praying, so that you will not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

And Hazael said,“ Why is my lord weeping?” And he answered,“ Because I know the evil that you will do to the sons of Israel: you will set their fortified cities on fire, you will kill their young men with the sword, their little ones you will smash to pieces, and you will rip up their pregnant women.”Then Hazael said,“ But what is your servant— a lowly dog— that he could do this great thing?” And Elisha answered,“ The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”

Simon Peter* said to Him,“ Lord, where are You going?” Jesus answered,“ Where I am going, you cannot follow Me now; but you will follow later.”Peter* said to Him,“ Lord, why can I not follow You right now? I will lay down my life for You.”

I know, Lord, that a person’s way is not in himself, Nor is it in a person who walks to direct his steps.

One who trusts in his own heart is a fool, But one who walks wisely will flee to safety.
