And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

曰、主、我已備偕爾入獄蹈死矣、

伯鐸祿對曰：『主乎、吾即偕子入獄、同子致命、亦所不辭。』

But he replied,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”

But Simon replied,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”

Peter said to him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death.”

Peter said,“ Lord, I am ready to go to prison with you, and even to die with you.”

“ Lord,” he told him,“ I’m ready to go with you both to prison and to death.”

But he said to Him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death!”

But he said to Him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.”

And he said unto him, Lord, with thee I am ready to go both to prison and to death.

“ Lord,” he told Him,“ I’m ready to go with You both to prison and to death!”

But Peter said to him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

He said to him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet[ will] not I.

But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

Peter answered and said unto him, Though all[ men] shall be offended because of thee,[ yet] will I never be offended.Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

The heart[ is] deceitful above all[ things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?

And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed[ is] willing, but the flesh[ is] weak.

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly[ is] ready, but the flesh[ is] weak.

And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.And Hazael said, But what,[ is] thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou[ shalt be] king over Syria.

Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

O LORD, I know that the way of man[ is] not in himself:[ it is] not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
