Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.

“ I pray for them. I am not praying for the world but for those you have given me, because they are yours.Everything I have is yours, and everything you have is mine, and I am glorified in them.I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by your name that you have given me, so that they may be one as we are one.

My little children, I am writing you these things so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father— Jesus Christ the righteous one.He himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.

Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.Resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while.

Therefore, with your minds ready for action, be sober-minded and set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

You are being guarded by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings that we suffer.

Restore the joy of your salvation to me, and sustain me by giving me a willing spirit.Then I will teach the rebellious your ways, and sinners will return to you.

And the seed on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy. Having no root, these believe for a while and fall away in a time of testing.

Therefore, strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees,and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated but healed instead.

I am not praying that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.As you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.I sanctify myself for them, so that they also may be sanctified by the truth.“ I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in me through their word.May they all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us, so that the world may believe you sent me.

Make sure that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up, causing trouble and defiling many.

even though I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I received mercy because I acted out of ignorance in unbelief,and the grace of our Lord overflowed, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance:“ Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”— and I am the worst of them.But I received mercy for this reason, so that in me, the worst of them, Christ Jesus might demonstrate his extraordinary patience as an example to those who would believe in him for eternal life.

He did not even spare his own Son but gave him up for us all. How will he not also with him grant us everything?

Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, since he always lives to intercede for them.

Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out,

In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live too.

When I kept silent, my bones became brittle from my groaning all day long.For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was drained as in the summer’s heat.
