西門、西門、爾其注意！沙殫欲簸汰爾曹、有如簸麥子、

“ Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.

“ Simon, Simon! Satan has asked to sift all of you disciples like wheat.

“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,

“ Simon, Simon, look out. Satan has asked to sift you like wheat.

“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to sift you men like wheat;

And the Lord said,“ Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.

Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:

“ Simon, Simon, look out! Satan has asked to sift you like wheat.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired[ to have] you, that he may sift[ you] as wheat:

“ Simon, Simon, pay attention! Satan has demanded to have you all, to sift you like wheat,

The Lord said,“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have all of you, that he might sift you as wheat,

One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the Lord, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them.“ Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. Satan answered the Lord,“ I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.”Then the Lord asked Satan,“ Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless— a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.”Satan replied to the Lord,“ Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God.You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is!But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!”“ All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to Satan.“ Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence.

Then the angel showed me Jeshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, making accusations against Jeshua.

Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens,“ It has come at last— salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night.

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

“ For I will give the command and will shake Israel along with the other nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, yet not one true kernel will be lost.

One day the members of the heavenly court came again to present themselves before the Lord, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them.“ Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. Satan answered the Lord,“ I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.”Then the Lord asked Satan,“ Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless— a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil. And he has maintained his integrity, even though you urged me to harm him without cause.”Satan replied to the Lord,“ Skin for skin! A man will give up everything he has to save his life.But reach out and take away his health, and he will surely curse you to your face!”“ All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan.“ But spare his life.”

But the Lord said to her,“ My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!

He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?”
