耶稣说：“西门！西门！撒旦已经要求像筛麦子一样筛你们，

“西门，西门，撒但设法要得着你们，好筛你们像筛麦子一样；

主又说：“西门，西门，你看，撒旦想要得着你们，要筛你们像筛麦子一样。

主曰、西門、西門、撒但欲得爾曹、簸爾若麥、

西門、西門、爾其注意！沙殫欲簸汰爾曹、有如簸麥子、

“ Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.

“ Simon, Simon! Satan has asked to sift all of you disciples like wheat.

“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,

“ Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat.

“ Simon, Simon, look out. Satan has asked to sift you like wheat.

“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to sift you men like wheat;

And the Lord said,“ Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.

Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:

“ Simon, Simon, look out! Satan has asked to sift you like wheat.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired[ to have] you, that he may sift[ you] as wheat:

The Lord said,“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have all of you, that he might sift you as wheat,

Now the day came when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD– and Satan also arrived among them.The LORD said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” And Satan answered the LORD,“ From roving about on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it.”So the LORD said to Satan,“ Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one like him on the earth, a pure and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil.”Then Satan answered the LORD,“ Is it for nothing that Job fears God?Have you not made a hedge around him and his household and all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his livestock have increased in the land.But extend your hand and strike everything he has, and he will no doubt curse you to your face!”So the LORD said to Satan,“ All right then, everything he has is in your power. Only do not extend your hand against the man himself!” So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.

Next I saw Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, with Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,“ The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the ruling authority of his Christ, have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, the one who accuses them day and night before our God, has been thrown down.

Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.

“ For look, I am giving a command and I will shake the family of Israel together with all the nations. It will resemble a sieve being shaken, when not even a pebble falls to the ground.

Again the day came when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also arrived among them to present himself before the LORD.And the LORD said to Satan,“ Where do you come from?” Satan answered the LORD,“ From roving about on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it.”Then the LORD said to Satan,“ Have you considered my servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a pure and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil. And he still holds firmly to his integrity, so that you stirred me up to destroy him without reason.”But Satan answered the LORD,“ Skin for skin! Indeed, a man will give up all that he has to save his life!But extend your hand and strike his bone and his flesh, and he will no doubt curse you to your face!”So the LORD said to Satan,“ All right, he is in your power; only preserve his life.”

But the Lord answered her,“ Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things,

He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”
