主曰、西門、西門、撒但欲得爾曹、簸爾若麥、

西門、西門、爾其注意！沙殫欲簸汰爾曹、有如簸麥子、

“ Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.

“ Simon, Simon! Satan has asked to sift all of you disciples like wheat.

“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,

“ Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat.

“ Simon, Simon, look out. Satan has asked to sift you like wheat.

And the Lord said,“ Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.

Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:

“ Simon, Simon, look out! Satan has asked to sift you like wheat.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired[ to have] you, that he may sift[ you] as wheat:

“ Simon, Simon, pay attention! Satan has demanded to have you all, to sift you like wheat,

The Lord said,“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have all of you, that he might sift you as wheat,

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.The Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”The Lord said to Satan,“ Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.”Then Satan answered the Lord,“ Does Job fear God for nothing?Have You not made a fence around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.But reach out with Your hand now and touch all that he has; he will certainly curse You to Your face.”Then the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not reach out and put your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord.

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right to accuse him.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

“ For behold, I am commanding, And I will shake the house of Israel among all nations As grain is shaken in a sieve, But not a pebble will fall to the ground.

Again, there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord.The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Then Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”The Lord said to Satan,“ Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man fearing God and turning away from evil. And he still holds firm to his integrity, although you incited Me against him to ruin him without cause.”Satan answered the Lord and said,“ Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has, he will give for his life.However, reach out with Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh; he will curse You to Your face!”So the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.”

But the Lord answered and said to her,“ Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things;

and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
