耶穌對他們說：「我確實地告訴你們：在新的世界裡，當人子坐在他榮耀寶座上的時候，你們這些跟從我的人也要坐在十二個寶座上，審判以色列的十二個支派。

難道你們不知道，聖徒將要審判這世界嗎？如果連世界都要被你們審判，難道你們還不配審理這些最小的事嗎？難道你們不知道，我們將要審判天使嗎？更何況今生的事呢！

一同坐席的有一個人聽了這些話，就說：「將來能在神的國裡吃飯的人是蒙福的！」

我告訴你們：我絕不吃這晚餐，直等到逾越節在神的國裡得以成就。」耶穌拿起杯來，祝謝了，說：「你們拿這個，大家分著喝。我告訴你們：從今以後我絕不喝這葡萄汁，直到神的國來臨。」

那得勝的，那把我的工作持守到底的，我將要賜給他權柄統管列國——他將用鐵杖治理列國，如同打碎陶器那樣——就像我也從我父那裡領受了權柄一樣；

我告訴你們：將有許多人從東從西而來，在天國裡與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席。

他們像註定下到陰間的羊群，死亡將作他們的牧者；到了清晨，正直人將管轄他們。他們的形體必被陰間吞噬，無處容身。

那得勝的，我將要准許他與我一起坐在我的寶座上；就像我已經得勝，與我父一起坐在他的寶座上那樣。

我父的全家，本來就在我主我王面前什麼都不是，只不過是該死之人，你卻把僕人安排在你筵席上吃飯的人當中。我還有什麼權利向王呼求更多呢？」

隨後，那位天使對我說：「你當寫下：那些被邀請赴羔羊婚宴的人是蒙福的！」他又對我說：「這些都是神真實的話語。」

王召來掃羅的僕人洗巴，對他說：「我已經把屬於掃羅和他全家的一切，都給了你主人的孫子。你和你的兒子，以及你的僕人要為他耕耘田地，帶來收成，使你主人的孫子有糧食吃。你主人的孫子米非波設必常與我同席吃飯。」洗巴有十五個兒子，二十個僕人。

主人回來的時候，看見哪些奴僕警醒著，那些奴僕就蒙福了。我確實地告訴你們：主人會束上腰帶，請他們坐席，並來伺候他們。

座位的周圍，還有二十四個座位；在那些寶座上，坐著二十四位長老，身穿白衣，頭戴金冠冕；
