But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves.

But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves.

But you must not be like that. Instead, the most important among you should be like the youngest. The one who rules should be like the one who serves.

But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves.

But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.

It is not to be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever is greatest among you should become like the youngest, and whoever leads, like the one serving.

But it is not this way for you; rather, the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant.

And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them,“ If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”

But you, do not be called‘ Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

and said,“ Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is— his good, pleasing and perfect will. (niv)

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,“ God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” (niv)
