但你們卻不是這樣；相反，你們當中誰更大，誰就該變得像年幼的那樣；領頭的，該像服事人的。

But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves.

But you must not be like that. Instead, the most important among you should be like the youngest. The one who rules should be like the one who serves.

But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves.

But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.

It is not to be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever is greatest among you should become like the youngest, and whoever leads, like the one serving.

But it is not this way for you; rather, the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant.

But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves.

然後對他們說：「無論誰奉我的名接受這小孩子，就是接受我；接受我的，就是接受差派我來的那一位。要知道，在你們當中誰更小，他才為大。」

也不要壓制所分配給你們的那些人，而要做羊群的榜樣。

耶穌坐下，叫十二使徒來，對他們說：「如果有人想做首先的，他就該做眾人當中最後的，做大家的僕人。」

「但你們不可被稱為『老師』，因為你們的老師只有一位，而你們都是弟兄。不要稱地上的任何人為『父』，因為你們的父只有一位，就是天父。你們也不要被人稱為『主人』，因為你們的主人只有一位，就是基督。你們當中誰更大，誰就該做你們的僕人，因為凡是自我高舉的都會被降卑，而自我降卑的都會被高舉。

說：「我確實地告訴你們：你們如果不回轉，變得像小孩子一樣，絕不能進入天國。所以，誰像這小孩子自我降卑，誰在天國裡就更大。無論誰奉我的名接受這樣一個小孩子，就是接受我。
