摩西以血灑民曰、主與爾立約、欲爾遵守此諸誡命、以此血為證、

天主使我能為新約之役、非循儀文、乃循聖神、蓋儀文致死、聖神致生、

命者死、然後遺命方可以行、命者尚生、則遺命無所用、

有新約之中保耶穌、及所灑之血、此血彷彿有言、較亞伯血之言尤善、

今所立之約更美、立約所許之福亦更美、耶穌既為此約之中保、則其所得祭司之職亦更美、前約若無虧缺、則無立後約之處、［經載］主責民曰、日將至、我與以色列家及猶大家、將立新約、此約、不似我與其祖所立之約、即我援其手、導之出伊及時所立者、蓋彼不守我約、故我不眷顧之、此乃主所言者、主又曰、此日之後、我與以色列家所立之約、即將以我之律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、我將為彼之天主、彼將為我之民、亦不需各教其兄弟鄰里曰、爾當識主、蓋由小至大、皆必識我、我將宥其不義、不復念其罪惡云、既言新約、則以前約為舊、凡舊而漸衰者、必速歸於無有、

我儕所祝之杯、非共享基督之血乎、我儕所擘之餅、非共享基督之體乎、餅既為一、我眾乃為一身、因共分受此一餅、試觀以色列族、食祭物者、非有分於祭臺乎、所言何也、偶像豈足稱道乎、祭偶像之物、亦豈足稱道乎、惟異邦人所獻之祭、祭鬼魔、非祭天主、我不欲爾與鬼魔交、爾不能飲主之杯、又飲鬼魔之杯、不能共主之席、又共鬼魔之席、

緣此、彼為新約之中保、已死而贖前約時所犯之罪、使蒙召者得所許之永福、福原文作業

主曰、時日將至、我與以色列族、與猶大族、將立新約、
