锡安啊，因为我用血跟你立了约，我必将你中间被掳的人从无水之坑释放出来。

摩西便把盆中的血洒在百姓身上，说：“这是立约的血，是耶和华按所说的话与你们立约的凭据。”

愿赐平安的上帝，就是那位凭着立永恒之约的血使群羊的大牧人——我主耶稣从死里复活的上帝，

这是我为万人所流的立约之血，为了使罪得到赦免。

祂使我们能够担任新约的执事。这新约不是用律法条文立的，而是圣灵的工作，因为律法条文带给人死亡，但圣灵赐给人生命。

如果立遗嘱的人依然健在，遗嘱就不能生效。

还有新约的中保耶稣和祂所流的血。这血比亚伯的血发出更美的信息。

但如今，基督得到了一个更超越的职任，正如祂担任了更美之约的中保，这约是根据更美的应许所立的。因为如果第一个约没有缺点，就不必另立新约了。然而，上帝指责祂的百姓，说：“看啊，时候将到，我要与以色列家和犹大家另立新约，这约不同于我与他们祖先所立的约，就是我牵着他们祖先的手领他们离开埃及时所立的。因为他们不持守我的约，所以我不再理会他们。这是主说的。主又说，那些日子以后，我将与以色列家立这样的约，我要把我的律法放在他们脑中，写在他们心上。我要做他们的上帝，他们要做我的子民。谁都无需再教导自己的邻居和弟兄，说，‘你要认识主。’因为他们无论尊卑都必认识我。我要赦免他们的过犯，忘掉他们的罪恶。”上帝既然说要立新约，就是把以前的约当作旧的了，那渐渐过时、陈旧的东西很快就会消失。

领圣餐时，我们为那福杯献上感谢，这不表示我们有份于基督的血吗？我们吃掰开的饼，这不表示我们有份于基督的身体吗？我们人数虽多，却同属一个身体，因为我们同享一个饼。你们看以色列人，那些吃祭物的难道不是有份于祭坛吗？我这话是什么意思呢？是说偶像和祭偶像的食物有什么特别吗？当然不是，我的意思是那些异教徒所献的祭是祭鬼魔的，而不是献给上帝的。我不愿意你们与鬼魔有任何关系。你们不能又喝主的杯又喝鬼魔的杯，不能又吃主的圣餐又吃祭鬼魔的食物。

因此，祂是新约的中保，借着死亡救赎了触犯旧约的人，好叫那些蒙召的人得到所应许的永恒基业。

耶和华说：“看啊，时候将到，我要与以色列家和犹大家另立新约，
