夫吾所授於爾者、乃吾所受於主也。主耶穌於被逮之夕、取餅、祝而分之、曰：此乃吾體、為爾等所捨者；爾等當行此禮、以誌永懷。食後取爵亦然、曰：此爵乃吾血所立之新約、爾等每飲、當行此禮、以誌永懷。是故爾每食此餅、每飲此爵、即係紀念主之彌留、以待其重臨。故凡輕率冒昧、妄食聖餅、妄領聖爵者、則褻瀆聖體與聖血矣。務必正心誠意、深自反省、然後可食斯餅、而領斯爵。若冒昧食之、冒昧飲之、而不思此即主之聖體者、是以飲食而自取罪戾也。

夫吾人所聖之寶爵、非吾人共飲之基督聖血乎？吾人所分之餅、又非吾人共領之基督聖體乎？

晚餐畢、復舉爵曰：『此爵乃吾新約之盟血、為爾傾流者也。

食間、耶穌持餅、祝而剖之、分授諸徒曰：『食之、此吾體也！』復舉爵、祝謝天恩、授諸徒、徒皆飲之。耶穌曰：『此即吾新約之盟血、為大眾而傾流者。

方食、耶穌持餅、剖而授徒曰：『爾等食之、此吾體也、』更舉杯祝謝、復授之曰：『爾盡飲是、此予之血、為洗除眾人之罪而流者、亦即新約之盟血也。

耶穌秉承我天主聖父之旨、為吾人之罪而自舍其身、以脫吾人於斯邪惡之世。

予乃降自天上之活糧、

任處何境、皆應感恩此乃天主所望於爾等基督信徒者。

基督為吾人自舍其身、正欲拯贖吾人、脫免一切罪惡、加以洗滌、俾得充其子民、發憤為善云耳。

既乃舉爵祝謝、謂徒曰：『爾其受而分之、

乃相與入室、餐時、耶穌持餅祝謝、剖而授之、

既命眾人席草而坐、持五餅二魚、仰天祝謝、剖餅授徒、徒轉授於眾、

力行愛德、亦如基督之愛爾也。彼竟為吾人之故、慨然以身獻於天主、作為祭祀牲牷、芳氣馥馥、有如馨香。

同時有數艇來自諦比略、泊近耶穌所嘗祝謝而以餅食眾之處。

共飲同一神水、蓋靈磐常與之偕、若輩得隨時就飲焉。靈磐者何、基督是已。

聖蹟堪永懷。聖心乃慈淵。

以授子孫。寧容有匿。俾我來胤。咸知歌詠。誦主之德。揚主之勳。主保吾族。法度以定。叮嚀歷祖。守之惟謹。並告後世。恐懼修省。

肩負吾人罪累於十字聖架之上。彼之為此、惟欲吾人死於罪而生於義、「以彼創傷、療我瘡痍」云耳。

此夏甲即亞刺伯之西乃山、亦可象徵現在之耶路撒冷；蓋耶路撒冷及其子女、猶未解放也。
