And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying,“ This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

The cup of blessing that we give thanks for, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?

In the same way He also took the cup after supper and said,“ This cup is the new covenant established by My blood; it is shed for you.

As they were eating, He took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to them, and said,“ Take it; this is My body.”Then He took a cup, and after giving thanks, He gave it to them, and so they all drank from it.He said to them,“ This is My blood that establishes the covenant; it is shed for many.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread he will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.”

Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

Then He took a cup, and after giving thanks, He said,“ Take this and share it among yourselves.

It was as He reclined at the table with them that He took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

Then He commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed them. He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

And walk in love, as the Messiah also loved us and gave Himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.

Some boats from Tiberias came near the place where they ate the bread after the Lord gave thanks.

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from a spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock was Christ.

He has caused His wonderful works to be remembered. The Lord is gracious and compassionate.

Take me with you— let us hurry. Oh, that the king would bring me to his chambers. We will rejoice and be glad for you; we will praise your love more than wine. It is only right that they adore you.

We must not hide them from their children, but must tell a future generation the praises of the Lord, His might, and the wonderful works He has performed.He established a testimony in Jacob and set up a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers to teach to their childrenso that a future generation— children yet to be born— might know. They were to rise and tell their children
