我把这些事提前告诉你们，是要叫你们到时候可以想起我曾跟你们讲过这些事。我以前没有告诉你们，那是因为我还跟你们在一起。

有一天，主的天使对腓利说：“起来，向南走，往耶路撒冷通往迦萨的路去。”那条路很荒凉。腓利立刻动身，结果在那条路上遇见一个埃塞俄比亚的太监。他是埃塞俄比亚女王甘大基手下的重臣，负责管理国库。他刚从耶路撒冷参加敬拜回来，正坐在车上诵读以赛亚先知的书。圣灵吩咐腓利：“赶上去，贴近那辆马车！”

耶稣说：“你们进城去，到某人那里对他说，‘老师说祂的时候到了，祂要与门徒在你家中过逾越节。’”门徒照耶稣的吩咐准备了逾越节的晚餐。

你离开我以后，会在便雅悯境内的泄撒、靠近拉结的墓旁遇见两个人。他们会告诉你，走失的驴已经找到，现在你父亲不再为驴担心，反为你担心，说，‘我该怎样找到我的儿子呢？’你继续往前走，会在他泊的橡树那里遇见三个人。他们要到伯特利去敬拜上帝，一个牵着三只山羊羔，一个带着三个饼，一个拿着一皮袋酒。他们会问候你，送你两个饼，你会把饼收下。此后，你会去上帝的山，那里有非利士人的驻军。你一进城，就会遇见一群先知从丘坛下来，前面有人鼓瑟、敲鼓、吹笛、弹琴，先知们会说预言。耶和华的灵会降在你身上，你就会跟他们一起说预言，那时，你会变成另一个人。这些兆头临到你的时候，你就要见机行事，因为上帝与你同在。

快到橄榄山附近的伯法其和伯大尼时，耶稣派了两个门徒，说：“你们去前面的村庄，进村的时候，必看见一头从来没有人骑过的驴驹拴在那里，你们把它解开牵来。若有人问你们为什么把它解开，就说，‘主要用它。’”两个门徒出去后，所遇见的情形正如耶稣所说的。当他们解开驴驹时，主人果然问他们：“你们为什么解开驴驹？”他们说：“主要用它。”他们牵着驴驹回去见耶稣，又把自己的外衣搭在驴背上，扶耶稣上驴。耶稣骑着驴前行，众人用外衣为祂铺路。祂正走下橄榄山，将近耶路撒冷的时候，众门徒因为以往所见的神迹奇事，就欢腾起来，高声赞美上帝：“奉主名来的王当受称颂！天上有平安，至高处有荣耀！”百姓中有几个法利赛人对耶稣说：“老师，你要责备你的门徒。”耶稣说：“我告诉你们，如果他们闭口不言，这些石头都要呼喊了！”
