然而你們的頭髮、連一根也不能失掉。你們務要用你們的堅忍、來擁有住你們的真性命。

上帝是我們的避難所、我們的力量、我們患難中的幫助、隨時隨地可得到的。所以地雖起了改變，我們也不怕；山雖搖動到海心，我們也不驚；

永恆主是我的光，是拯救我的；我還怕誰呢？永恆主是我性命的逃難所；我還懼怕誰呢？那作壞事的人、我的敵人、我的仇敵、走近前來攻擊我，要喫我肉的時候，他們就絆跌仆倒。雖有軍兵紮營來攻擊我，我的心也不害怕；雖有戰事生起、來擊打我，我仍覺得安然。

壞消息他也不懼怕；他的心堅定，倚靠着永恆主。

『凡這人民所叫做陰謀的、你們不要都叫做陰謀；他們所怕的、你們可別怕，可別畏懼。

我的肺腑啊，我的肺腑啊，我翻騰難過；我心房的牆直跳動着；我的心向我自己在悲歎哀鳴；我不能緘默不作聲；因為我聽見了號角聲，戰爭的吶喊。破毁接着破毁；因為全國盡都毁壞；我的帳棚忽然毁壞，我的幔子一眨眼間就破裂。

突然而來的恐怖、你不懼怕；惡人的毁滅臨到了、你也不驚慌；因為永恆主是你所安心信賴的；他必保守你的腳不被纏住。

耶穌說：『你們要謹慎，不要受迷惑。因為必有許多人要冒我的名來，說：「我就是」；又說：「時機近了！」你們不要去跟着他們。
