He replied,“ Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am the Messiah,’ and saying,‘ The time has come!’ But don’t believe them.

He replied:“ Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not follow them.

Jesus replied,“ Keep watch! Be careful that you are not fooled. Many will come in my name. They will claim,‘ I am he!’ And they will say,‘ The time is near!’ Do not follow them.

And he said,“ See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am he!’ and,‘ The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.

Then he said,“ Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Don’t follow them.

And He said,“ See to it that you are not misled; for many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am He,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not go after them.

And He said:“ Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am He,’ and,‘ The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.

And he said, Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and, The time is at hand: go ye not after them.

Then He said,“ Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am He,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Don’t follow them.

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am[ Christ]; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

He said,“ Watch out that you are not misled. For many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not follow them!

He said,“ Watch out that you don’t get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is at hand.’ Therefore don’t follow them.

Jesus replied,“ Don’t let anyone mislead you,for many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.

Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey him.

Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed— the one who brings destruction.

Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.

“ Then if anyone tells you,‘ Look, here is the Messiah,’ or‘ There he is,’ don’t believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.Watch out! I have warned you about this ahead of time!

And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people.

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Do not let your prophets and fortune tellers who are with you in the land of Babylon trick you. Do not listen to their dreams,

Jesus told them,“ Don’t let anyone mislead you,for many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.

This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles.He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them.So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.

People will tell you,‘ Look, there is the Son of Man,’ or‘ Here he is,’ but don’t go out and follow them.

These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.

But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will deceive others and will themselves be deceived.

Some time ago there was that fellow Theudas, who pretended to be someone great. About 400 others joined him, but he was killed, and all his followers went their various ways. The whole movement came to nothing.After him, at the time of the census, there was Judas of Galilee. He got people to follow him, but he was killed, too, and all his followers were scattered.

A man named Simon had been a sorcerer there for many years, amazing the people of Samaria and claiming to be someone great.Everyone, from the least to the greatest, often spoke of him as“ the Great One— the Power of God.”

“ Then if anyone tells you,‘ Look, here is the Messiah,’ or‘ There he is,’ don’t believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.

This great dragon— the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world— was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

From then on Jesus began to preach,“ Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I Am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.”

For I have come to you in my Father’s name, and you have rejected me. Yet if others come in their own name, you gladly welcome them.

God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.

“ Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”
