He replied:“ Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not follow them.

And he said,“ See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am he!’ and,‘ The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.

He replied,“ Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am the Messiah,’ and saying,‘ The time has come!’ But don’t believe them.

Then he said,“ Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Don’t follow them.

And He said,“ See to it that you are not misled; for many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am He,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not go after them.

And He said:“ Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am He,’ and,‘ The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.

Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. (niv)

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (niv)

At that time if anyone says to you,‘ Look, here is the Messiah!’ or,‘ Look, there he is!’ do not believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time. (niv)

and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. (niv)

Yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. (niv)

Jesus answered:“ Watch out that no one deceives you.For many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. (niv)

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (niv)

People will tell you,‘ There he is!’ or‘ Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them. (niv)

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. (niv)

while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (niv)

Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing.After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great,and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed,“ This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.” (niv)

At that time if anyone says to you,‘ Look, here is the Messiah!’ or,‘ There he is!’ do not believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.See, I have told you ahead of time. (niv)

The great dragon was hurled down— that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. (niv)

From that time on Jesus began to preach,“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” (niv)

I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.” (niv)

I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. (niv)

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. (niv)
