主至、見僕儆醒、斯僕福矣。予實語爾、主且酬以盛筵、躬自束帶而供役矣。倘至二更或三更始歸、而見其僕如此、福哉僕乎。爾其識之、家主苟知盜之何時來臨、必自戒備、不聽穿窬。爾等亦宜恆自警惕。蓋人子來臨、每在不意之時也。』

因是之故、惟執有天主之全副武器、足以自全於危難之日、且於勝利之後、尚能屹立不搖、而遊刃有餘也。是以望爾等立定腳跟、以真理束腰、以正義護胸、

祈禱無輟；

蓋天主公平之睿斷、於此已見端倪。正惟爾等為天主之國受苦、是天主以爾等為克承其國也。故今之加爾以困辱者、天主亦將報之以困辱；

當憑聖神之靈感祈禱不輟儆醒不倦、且為諸聖籲告、亦為予祈求辯才無礙、俾能以大無畏精神、闡發福音之蘊奧。

為人虔誠、舉家敬畏天主、平素博施濟眾、祈禱不輟。

祈禱之道、惟誠與恆、務望常懷儆惕、莫忘洪恩、

吾兒當朝乾夕惕忍辱負重、毅然以光大聖道為己任、克盡司鐸之職。
