So you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.

如是、爾見斯事至、則知上帝國近矣、

凡若此爾見之、則知上帝國邇矣、

如是爾見有此事、則知天主國近矣、

故見以上諸兆、亦當知天主之國在邇矣。

Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

In the same way, when you see these things happening, you will know that God’s kingdom is near.

So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near.

In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.

Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh.

No, I tell you, but rather division;for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother in law against daughter in law and daughter in law against mother in law.”And He was also saying to the crowds,“ Whenever you see a cloud rising in the west, you immediately say,‘ A shower is coming,’ and so it turns out.And whenever you feel a south wind blowing, you say,‘ It will be a hot day,’ and it turns out that way.You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how is it that you do not know how to analyze this present time?“ And why do you not even judge by yourselves what is right?

“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.

The Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and putting Jesus to the test, they asked Him to show them a sign from heaven.But He replied to them,“ When it is evening, you say,‘ It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’And in the morning,‘ There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but are you unable to discern the signs of the times?An evil and adulterous generation wants a sign; and so a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah.” And He left them and went away.
