此兆一見端倪、爾等當舉目翹首、蓋救贖之恩近矣。』

When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Not only that, but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits— we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.

When he has swallowed up death once and for all, the Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove his people’s disgrace from the whole earth, for the LORD has spoken.On that day it will be said,“ Look, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he has saved us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him. Let’s rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”

For the creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God’s sons to be revealed.

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD shines over you.For look, darkness will cover the earth, and total darkness the peoples; but the LORD will shine over you, and his glory will appear over you.

Sing to the LORD with the lyre, with the lyre and melodious song.With trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn shout triumphantly in the presence of the LORD, our King.Let the sea and all that fills it, the world and those who live in it, resound.Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains shout together for joybefore the LORD, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world righteously and the peoples fairly.

And don’t grieve God’s Holy Spirit. You were sealed by him for the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of his glory.

Will not God grant justice to his elect who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay helping them?
