“ There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.

天之眾星列宿、不顯其光、日出而暗、月不揚輝、

我將顯異跡於天上地下、若血、若火、若煙、若血若火若煙或作有血有火有煙柱日變晦冥、月為血色、主之日大而可畏、未至之先、必有此事、

是時必有大難、自生民以來、至於其時、無有若是者、護爾民之大君米迦勒必興起、捍衛爾曹、斯時爾民、凡名錄於册者、必蒙救援、

我滅爾時、我必蔽天、使眾星昏暗、以雲蔽日、使月不發光、在天諸光、我必使之為爾昏暗、使爾地昏暗不明、此乃主天主所言、

既啟第六印、我觀之、見地大震、日黑如褐、月變如血、天星隕地、如無花果樹、為大風飄撼、落其未熟之果、天如卷之被捲、逝而不見、諸山島、皆遷離本位、

主之日至、如盜乘夜而來、當時天大震響而逝、體質被烈火銷鎔、地與地上造作之物皆被焚燬、萬物既將消滅、則爾之舉動、當如何聖潔、當如何虔敬、希望切慕天主之日至、是日天將被火焚燬、體質被烈燄銷鎔、

萬有之主在郇山、在耶路撒冷為君、在敬之之長老前顯榮光、其時日必愧怍、月必羞慚、

我乃主爾之天主、我一激海、海濤澎湃、我一激海海濤澎湃或作海濤澎湃我能使之恬靜名為萬有之主、

是時人將見人子以大權大榮、乘雲而來、

我萬有之主、忿盛怒烈之日、必使天震動、使地搖撼離於其所、人將逃遁、如被逐之鹿、如迷路之羊、無人收聚、各歸其國、各奔其地、

我見一白色大寶座、並坐之者、天地遁於其前、不復見、不復見原文作不復得可居之處

當是時也、此災難之後、日必晦冥、月不發光、

我將上示奇事於天、下示異兆於地、若血、若火、若煙、

主歟、江湖發聲、江湖興波作浪、主在高天顯威、勝於波濤之聲、勝於滄海之洪波巨浪、

任憑海波澎湃翻騰、任憑山岳因海濤洶湧而搖撼、細拉、

當斯日、敵軍向民而呼、勢如海濤澎湃、民若望地、盡幽暗艱難、光明蔽於密雲而晦冥、

此時之難後、日即晦冥、月不發光、星隕自天、天象象或作勢震動、

自午正至申初、原文作自第六時至第九時遍地晦冥、

先知曰、我觀地、地空虛混亂、觀天、天昏黑無光、

彼所謂善者、等諸荊棘、彼所謂正者、同於蒺藜、或作彼之最善義者惟如荊棘彼之最正直者但如蒺藜爾中先知所言之日、即爾受罰之日速至、是時眾俱荒亂、
