那時在猶太的，要逃到山上；在城中的、要退出來；在鄉下的、不要進城。

Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.

在房頂上的不要下來，也不要進去，從屋裏拿甚麼東西；

當那日子，人在房頂上、而家具在屋子裏的、不要下來取；那在田地裏的、也照樣不要返回。你們要記得羅得的妻子。凡尋求保全自己性命的、必失掉性命；凡失掉性命的、必保存性命以活着。

耶利米就離開耶路撒冷而出去，要往便雅憫地、去在那裏、在人民中間、取得他自己的產業分額。

於是我聽見另有聲音從天上說：『我的子民哪，從那城出來哦，免得一同有分於她的罪，也免得受她所受的災殃。

羅得的妻子向後一望，就變成了鹽柱。

但巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上來攻打這地的時候，我們就說：「來，我們到耶路撒冷去，是因為迦勒底軍隊和亞蘭軍隊的緣故。」這樣，我們才住在耶路撒冷。』

他告訴會眾說：『你們離開這些惡人的帳棚吧！一切屬於他們的、甚麼都不可觸着，恐怕你們也被掃滅於他們的罪中。』

便雅憫人哪，從耶路撒冷城中逃出來避難哦！要在提哥亞吹號角，在伯哈基琳豎立警報；因為有災禍與大破毁從北方張望下來。

那時在猶太的就要逃到山上；

精明人一見災禍就躲藏；愚蠢人卻前往去受罰受害。

即領了他們出來，一位就說：『逃命吧！不可回頭看望，在這一片平原上、哪裏都不可站住！只要往山上逃跑！免得你被掃滅。』

法老的臣僕中有懼怕永恆主這話的，便叫奴僕和牲畜躲進家來。但那不把永恆主這話放在心上的、就將奴僕和牲畜留在田地裏。
