在房顶的不要下来，也不要进到屋子里拿什么东西；

当那日，人在房顶上，器具在屋里，不要下来拿；在田里的，照样不要回家。应当记着罗得的妻子的教训。凡是想保全生命的，必丧掉生命；凡是牺牲生命的，却必保全生命。

耶利米离开耶路撒冷，往便雅悯地去，要在那里，在同乡中间，取得自己的产业。

我听见另一个声音从天上来，说：“从那城出来吧，我的子民！免得在她的罪上有分，受她所受的灾难；

罗得的妻子在他后面向后一望，就变成了盐柱。

但是，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒上来攻打这地的时候，我们就说：‘来吧！为了迦勒底和亚兰人的军队的缘故，我们到耶路撒冷去。’这样，我们才住在耶路撒冷。”

摩西告诉会众：“你们要远离这些恶人的帐幕，凡是他们的东西，你们都不可摸，免得你们因他们的一切罪恶同遭毁灭。”

“便雅悯人哪！赶快逃命，离开耶路撒冷。你们要在提哥亚吹角，在伯．哈基琳升烽火；因为灾祸和严重的毁灭，已从北方迫近。

那时，住在犹太的应当逃到山上；

精明人看见灾祸，就躲藏起来；愚蒙人却往前走，自取祸害。

二人把他们带出来以后，其中一位说：“逃命吧，不要回头看，也不可留在这片平原上，要逃到山上去，免得你被除灭。”

法老的臣仆中有惧怕耶和华这话的，就叫他的仆人和牲畜进屋里来。但那不把耶和华这话放在心上的，却把他的仆人和牲畜留在田里。
