By your endurance you will gain your lives.

Stand firm, and you will win life.

Remain strong in the faith, and you will receive eternal life.

By your endurance you will gain your lives.

“ By your endurance you will win your lives.

For you need endurance in order to do God’s will and so receive what is promised.

And you will be hated by everyone because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,

because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

Because you have kept my admonition to endure steadfastly, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Wait patiently for the LORD! Wait confidently for him! Do not fret over the apparent success of a sinner, a man who carries out wicked schemes!

If anyone is meant for captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed by the sword, then by the sword he must be killed. This requires steadfast endurance and faith from the saints.

This requires the steadfast endurance of the saints– those who obey God’s commandments and hold to their faith in Jesus.

So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s return. Think of how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient for it until it receives the early and late rains.You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near.Do not grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be judged. See, the judge stands before the gates!As an example of suffering and patience, brothers and sisters, take the prophets who spoke in the Lord’s name.Think of how we regard as blessed those who have endured. You have heard of Job’s endurance and you have seen the Lord’s purpose, that the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

But we passionately want each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of your hope until the end,

‘ I know your works as well as your labor and steadfast endurance, and that you cannot tolerate evil. You have even put to the test those who refer to themselves as apostles( but are not), and have discovered that they are false.I am also aware that you have persisted steadfastly, endured much for the sake of my name, and have not grown weary.

Where would I be if I did not believe I would experience the LORD’s favor in the land of the living?Rely on the LORD! Be strong and confident! Rely on the LORD!
