Then he said to them,“ Nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then he said to them:“ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then Jesus said to them,“ Nation will fight against nation. Kingdom will fight against kingdom.

Then he said to them,“ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then he added,“ Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then he told them,“ Nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then He continued by saying to them,“ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,

Then He said to them,“ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;

Then He told them:“ Nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

Then he said to them,“ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

For nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines. These are but the beginning of birth pains.

And I will perform wonders in the sky above and miraculous signs on the earth below, blood and fire and clouds of smoke.The sun will be changed to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

On that day there will be great confusion from the LORD among them; they will seize each other and attack one another violently.

In those days no one could travel safely, for total chaos had overtaken all the people of the surrounding lands.One nation was crushed by another, and one city by another, for God caused them to be in great turmoil.

Now this phrase“ once more” indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created things, so that what is unshaken may remain.

For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to wage war; the city will be taken, its houses plundered, and the women raped. Then half of the city will go into exile, but the remainder of the people will not be taken away.Then the LORD will go to battle and fight against those nations, just as he fought battles in ancient days.

So I looked, and here came a white horse! The one who rode it had a bow, and he was given a crown, and as a conqueror he rode out to conquer.Then when the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying,“ Come!”And another horse, fiery red, came out, and the one who rode it was granted permission to take peace from the earth, so that people would butcher one another, and he was given a huge sword.Then when the Lamb opened the third seal I heard the third living creature saying,“ Come!” So I looked, and here came a black horse! The one who rode it had a balance scale in his hand.Then I heard something like a voice from among the four living creatures saying,“ A quart of wheat will cost a day’s pay and three quarts of barley will cost a day’s pay. But do not damage the olive oil and the wine!”Then when the Lamb opened the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying,“ Come!”So I looked and here came a pale green horse! The name of the one who rode it was Death, and Hades followed right behind. They were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill its population with the sword, famine, and disease, and by the wild animals of the earth.Now when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been violently killed because of the word of God and because of the testimony they had given.They cried out with a loud voice,“ How long, Sovereign Master, holy and true, before you judge those who live on the earth and avenge our blood?”Each of them was given a long white robe and they were told to rest for a little longer, until the full number was reached of both their fellow servants and their brothers who were going to be killed just as they had been.Then I looked when the Lamb opened the sixth seal, and a huge earthquake took place; the sun became as black as sackcloth made of hair, and the full moon became blood red;

Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah:‘ I am ready to shake the sky and the earth.I will overthrow royal thrones and shatter the might of earthly kingdoms. I will overthrow chariots and those who ride them, and horses and their riders will fall as people kill one another.

One of them, named Agabus, got up and predicted by the Spirit that a severe famine was about to come over the whole inhabited world.( This took place during the reign of Claudius.)

“ I will provoke civil strife in Egypt, brothers will fight with each other, as will neighbors, cities, and kingdoms.
