But she, out of her poverty, put in what she had to live on, everything she had.”

( Jesus spoke these words near the offering box while he was teaching in the temple courts. No one seized him because his time had not yet come.)

All the silver and gold, as well as bronze and iron items, belong to the LORD. They must go into the LORD’s treasury.”

But you say that if anyone tells his father or mother,‘ Whatever help you would have received from me is corban’( that is, a gift for God),then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother.Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like this.”

But they burned the city and all that was in it, except for the silver, gold, and bronze and iron items they put in the treasury of the LORD’s house.

Nebuchadnezzar took from there all the riches in the treasuries of the LORD’s temple and of the royal palace. He removed all the gold items which King Solomon of Israel had made for the LORD’s temple, just as the LORD had warned.

He took away the treasures of the LORD’s temple and of the royal palace; he took everything, including all the golden shields that Solomon had made.
