Whose son is he?” They replied,“ David’s.”He asked them,“ How is it then that David, inspired by the Spirit, calls him‘ Lord’:The Lord declared to my Lord,‘ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet’?“ If David calls him‘ Lord,’ how, then, can he be his son?”

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will accomplish this.

“ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to attest these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

then also my covenant with my servant David may be broken. If that could happen, then he would not have a son reigning on his throne and the Levitical priests would not be my ministers.
