交叉引用

  • Matthew 11:7-19
As they went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds concerning John:“ What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? What then did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. This is he of whom it is written,“‘ Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.’Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John, and if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come.He who has ears to hear, let him hear.“ But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their playmates,“‘ We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say,‘ He has a demon.’The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say,‘ Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her deeds.”
  • Luke 15:18
I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you.
  • John 1:6
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
  • Matthew 17:11-12
He answered,“ Elijah does come, and he will restore all things. But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.”
  • Matthew 21:25-32
The baptism of John, from where did it come? From heaven or from man?” And they discussed it among themselves, saying,“ If we say,‘ From heaven,’ he will say to us,‘ Why then did you not believe him?’But if we say,‘ From man,’ we are afraid of the crowd, for they all hold that John was a prophet.”So they answered Jesus,“ We do not know.” And he said to them,“ Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.“ What do you think? A man had two sons. And he went to the first and said,‘ Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’And he answered,‘ I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind and went. And he went to the other son and said the same. And he answered,‘ I go, sir,’ but did not go.Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said,“ The first.” Jesus said to them,“ Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes go into the kingdom of God before you.For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward change your minds and believe him.
  • Daniel 4:25-26
that you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. You shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and you shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will. And as it was commanded to leave the stump of the roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be confirmed for you from the time that you know that Heaven rules.
  • Luke 7:28-35
I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”( When all the people heard this, and the tax collectors too, they declared God just, having been baptized with the baptism of John, but the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the purpose of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.)“ To what then shall I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like? They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another,“‘ We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say,‘ He has a demon.’The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say,‘ Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’Yet wisdom is justified by all her children.”
  • John 1:19-28
And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him,“ Who are you?”He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed,“ I am not the Christ.”And they asked him,“ What then? Are you Elijah?” He said,“ I am not.”“ Are you the Prophet?” And he answered,“ No.”So they said to him,“ Who are you? We need to give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”He said,“ I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness,‘ Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as the prophet Isaiah said.”( Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.)They asked him,“ Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”John answered them,“ I baptize with water, but among you stands one you do not know, even he who comes after me, the strap of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.”These things took place in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
