他们无法当着百姓在他的话上抓到把柄，又因他的对答而惊讶，就闭口不言了。

恨耶和华的人必来投降，愿他们的厄运直到永远。

他们把耶稣从该亚法那里押解到总督府。那时是清早。他们自己却不进总督府，恐怕染了污秽，不能吃逾越节的宴席。于是彼拉多出来，到他们那里，说：“你们告这人是为什么事呢？”他们回答他说：“这人若不作恶，我们就不会把他交给你了。”彼拉多对他们说：“你们自己带他去，按着你们的律法问他吧！”犹太人说：“我们没有杀人的权柄。”这是要应验耶稣所说，指自己将要怎样死的话。

他们因贪婪，要用捏造的言语在你们身上取得利益。他们的惩罚，自古以来并不迟延；他们的灭亡也必迅速来到。

伺机要抓他的话柄。

后来，他们打发几个法利赛人和希律党人到耶稣那里，要用他自己的话陷害他。他们来了，就对他说：“老师，我们知道你是诚实的，无论谁你都一视同仁；因为你不看人的面子，而是诚诚实实传上帝的道。纳税给凯撒合不合法？我们该不该纳？”耶稣知道他们的虚伪，就对他们说：“你们为什么试探我？拿一个银币来给我看。”他们就拿了来。耶稣问他们：“这像和这名号是谁的？”他们对他说：“是凯撒的。”耶稣对他们说：“凯撒的归凯撒；上帝的归上帝。”他们对他非常惊讶。

他们说：“来吧！让我们设计谋害耶利米；因为我们有祭司讲律法，有智慧人设谋略，有先知说预言，都未曾断绝。来吧！让我们用舌头攻击他，不要理他一切的话。”

恶人窥探义人，想要杀他。耶和华必不把他交在恶人手中，当审判的时候，也不定他的罪。

我听见许多的毁谤，四围都是惊吓；连我知己朋友都看着我跌倒：“告他吧，我们要告他！或者他被引诱，我们就能胜他，在他身上报仇。”

他派人往提哥亚去，从那里叫了一个有智慧的妇人来，对她说：“请你装作居丧的人，穿上丧服，不用膏抹身，装作为死者悲哀多日的妇人。

众人为了要控告耶稣，就窥探他会不会在安息日医治那人。

当对上帝说：“你的作为何等可畏！因你的大能，仇敌要向你投降。

因为残暴的人归于无有，傲慢的人已经灭绝，一切存心作恶的都被剪除。他们凭一句话定一个人有罪，为在城门口断是非的设下罗网，又用虚无的事屈枉义人。

我像柔顺的羔羊被牵去宰杀，并不知道他们设计谋害我：“我们把树连果子都灭了吧！把他从活人之地剪除，使他的名不再被记得。”

耶罗波安对他的妻子说：“你起来改装，使人认不出你是耶罗波安的妻子。你往示罗去，看哪，那里有先知亚希雅，他曾告诉我说，你必作这百姓的王。现在你手里要带十个饼、几个薄饼和一瓶蜜到他那里去，他必告诉你，孩子会怎样。”耶罗波安的妻子就照样做，起身往示罗去，到了亚希雅的家。亚希雅因年纪老迈，两眼发直，不能看见。耶和华对亚希雅说：“看哪，耶罗波安的妻子来问你她儿子的事，因她儿子病了，你当如此如此告诉她。她进来的时候会扮成别的妇人。”她刚进门，亚希雅听见她的脚步声，就说：“耶罗波安的妻子，进来吧！你为何扮成别的妇人呢？我奉差遣将凶信告诉你。

那寻索我命的设下罗网，那想要害我的口出恶言，整日思想诡计。
