And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

对他说：“请告诉我们：你凭什么权柄做这些事？是谁给你这权柄的？”

問他說：「你告訴我們，你仗着甚麼權柄做這些事？給你這權柄的是誰呢？」

問他說：「你告訴我們，你仗着甚麼權柄做這些事？給你這權柄的是誰呢？」

問他說：「你告訴我們，你仗着甚麼權柄做這些事？給你這權柄的是誰呢？」

質問祂：「告訴我們，你憑什麼權柄做這些事？誰授權給你了？」

對他說：“告訴我們，你憑著甚麼權柄作這些事？給你這權柄的是誰？”

對他說：『告訴我們，你仗着甚麼權柄作這些事啊？給你這權柄的是誰呢？』

對他說：「請告訴我們：你憑什麼權柄做這些事？是誰給你這權柄的？」

試告我、爾以何權行是、賜爾此權者誰耶、

請告我、爾以何權行是、賜爾斯權者誰耶、

曰、請告我、爾以何權行此諸事、賜爾此權者誰乎、

『請示吾儕、爾憑何權行此一切？且孰授爾以斯權耶？』

“ Tell us by what authority you are doing these things,” they said.“ Who gave you this authority?”

“ Tell us by what authority you are doing these things,” they all said.“ Who gave you this authority?”

and said to him,“ Tell us by what authority you do these things, or who it is that gave you this authority.”

They demanded,“ By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?”

and said to him,“ Tell us, by what authority are you doing these things? Who is it who gave you this authority?”

and they declared, saying to Him,“ Tell us by what authority You are doing these things, or who is the one who gave You this authority?”

and spoke to Him, saying,“ Tell us, by what authority are You doing these things? Or who is he who gave You this authority?”

and they spake, saying unto him, Tell us: By what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

and said to Him:“ Tell us, by what authority are You doing these things? Who is it who gave You this authority?”

and said to him,“ Tell us: By what authority are you doing these things? Or who it is who gave you this authority?”

They asked him,“ Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?”

Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.The baptism of John, was[ it] from heaven, or of men? answer me.And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all[ men] counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.

And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead,[ even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers[ did], so[ do] ye.

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:That all[ men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send[ to be] a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and[ with] our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust[ him] from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;Saying, Blessed[ be] the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
