But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

不料，园户看见他，就彼此商量说：‘这是承受产业的，我们杀他吧，使产业归于我们！’

可是，园户看见他，彼此说：‘这是承受产业的。我们杀了他，产业就归我们了！’

“岂料那些佃户看见来人是园主的儿子，便彼此商量说，‘这个人是产业继承人，我们把他杀掉，这葡萄园就归我们了！’

佃户一看他，就彼此商议说：‘这是继承产业的，让我们杀了他，那么，产业就成为我们的了。’

“可是那些农夫看见他，就彼此讨论说：‘这是继承人。我们把他杀了，那继业就成为我们的了。’

不料，園戶看見他，就彼此商量說：『這是承受產業的，我們殺他吧，使產業歸於我們！』

可是，園戶看見他，彼此說：『這是承受產業的。我們殺了他，產業就歸我們了！』

「豈料那些佃戶看見來人是園主的兒子，便彼此商量說，『這個人是產業繼承人，我們把他殺掉，這葡萄園就歸我們了！』

佃戶一看他，就彼此商議說：‘這是繼承產業的，讓我們殺了他，那麼，產業就成為我們的了。’

園工看見他，卻彼此議論說：「這是承繼產業的；我們殺他吧，產業好歸我們。」

「可是那些農夫看見他，就彼此討論說：『這是繼承人。我們把他殺了，那繼業就成為我們的了。』

農夫見之、相議曰、此其嗣子、我且殺之、業歸我矣、

農夫見其子、竊議曰、此其嗣子、且來殺之、業歸我矣、

園夫見其子、相議曰、此乃嗣子、盍來殺之、業則歸我矣、

詎意園戶見而互議曰：「此乃其嗣子、盍共殺之、產歸吾有矣。」

“ But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over.‘ This is the heir,’ they said.‘ Let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’

“ But when the renters saw the son, they talked the matter over.‘ This is the one who will receive all the owner’s property someday,’ they said.‘ Let’s kill him. Then everything will be ours.’

But when the tenants saw him, they said to themselves,‘ This is the heir. Let us kill him, so that the inheritance may be ours.’

“ But when the tenant farmers saw his son, they said to each other,‘ Here comes the heir to this estate. Let’s kill him and get the estate for ourselves!’

“ But when the tenant farmers saw him, they discussed it among themselves and said,‘ This is the heir. Let’s kill him, so that the inheritance will be ours.’

But when the vine growers saw him, they discussed with one another, saying,‘ This is the heir; let’s kill him so that the inheritance will be ours.’

But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying,‘ This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’

But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned one with another, saying, This is the heir; let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

“ But when the tenant farmers saw him, they discussed it among themselves and said,‘ This is the heir. Let’s kill him, so the inheritance will be ours!’

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by[ his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with[ him], that we may be also glorified together.

Also I will make him[ my] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.

The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?[ They] all say unto him, Let him be crucified.And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but[ that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed[ his] hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye[ to it].Then answered all the people, and said, His blood[ be] on us, and on our children.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying,[ It is] because we have taken no bread.

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.When Herod the king had heard[ these things], he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,And thou Bethlehem,[ in] the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found[ him], bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

Ask of me, and I shall give[ thee] the heathen[ for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth[ for] thy possession.

And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed,[ saying],Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.If we let him thus alone, all[ men] will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.And one of them,[ named] Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
