要知道，我所歸屬、所事奉的神，他的一位天使昨天晚上站在我身邊，

錫安哪，起來，發出亮光！因為你的光已經來到，耶和華的榮耀已經在你上面升起。

正如大家所承認的，敬神的奧祕是極大的：神以肉身顯現，被聖靈證實，被天使觀看，被傳於萬邦，被世人信仰，被接在榮耀裡。

忽然主的一位天使站在旁邊，牢房裡有光照耀。天使拍拍彼得的肋旁，叫醒他，說：「趕快起來！」那些鐵鏈立刻就從彼得的手上掉了下來。

這些事以後，我看見另一位天使從天上降下來，他擁有大權；大地被他的榮光照亮了。

「當我趕路快到大馬士革的時候，大約中午，忽然有強烈的光從天上下來，在我周圍四面照射。我就仆倒在地上，聽見有聲音對我說：『掃羅，掃羅！你為什麼逼迫我？』「我回答：『主啊！你到底是誰？』「他說：『我就是你所逼迫的拿撒勒人耶穌。』與我在一起的人雖然看到了那光，卻聽不懂那對我說話的聲音。

天使來到她面前，說：「蒙大恩的女子，願你歡喜，主與你同在！」

約瑟思考這些事以後，忽然主的一位天使在約瑟夢中顯現，說：「大衛的後裔約瑟，不要怕迎娶瑪麗亞做你的妻子，因為她裡面所懷的是由聖靈而來的。

王啊，約在正午，我在路上的時候，看見一道光，比太陽更明亮，從天上四面照射我和與我同行的人。我們都仆倒在地。我聽見有聲音用希伯來語對我說：『掃羅，掃羅！你為什麼逼迫我？你腳踢刺棒，是狂妄的。』

她們正為這件事心裡困惑的時候，忽然有兩個人，身穿閃閃發光的衣服，站在她們旁邊。

大大綻放，大大快樂，並且歡呼；它必被賜予黎巴嫩的榮耀，迦密和莎倫的威榮；人們必看見耶和華的榮耀，我們神的威榮。

因為那吩咐「要有光從黑暗裡照耀出來」的神，已經照耀了我們的心，為要發出神榮耀的知識之光——這光就在耶穌基督的臉上。

以賽亞說了這些話，是因為看見了耶穌的榮耀，就講論他的事。

但在夜裡，主的一位天使打開了監門，領他們出來，說：

他們彼此呼喊說：「聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！萬軍之耶和華！他的榮耀充滿全地。」因呼喊者的聲音，門檻的根基震動，殿裡充滿了煙雲。那時我說：「我有禍了，我要滅亡了！因為我是個嘴唇不潔淨的人，住在嘴唇不潔淨的民眾當中；又因為我親眼看見了大君王萬軍之耶和華。」

有主的一位天使站在香壇的右邊向他顯現。撒迦利亞看見後，就驚慌不安，恐懼就臨到了他。

耶和華的榮耀必顯現，凡有血肉的都必一同看見。因為這是耶和華親口說的。」

接著，我看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都從他面前逃避，連它們的地方也找不到了。

那景象實在可怕，連摩西也說：「我非常害怕戰兢。」
