但有一个名叫迦玛列的法利赛人，是全体民众所尊敬的律法教师，在议会中站了起来，下令把使徒们暂时带到外面去，

就是说，正如约拿在大鱼的肚子里三天三夜，人子也照样将要在地心三天三夜。

主耶和华赐给了我门徒的口舌，使我知道怎样用话语扶助疲乏的人。他每天清晨唤醒我，唤醒我的耳朵，使我能像门徒那样地听。

说：“大人，我们想起当那个迷惑人的还活着时曾经说过：‘在第三天我要复活。’所以，请你下令严密看守那坟墓，一直到第三天，免得他的门徒们来把他偷走，然后对民众说他从死人中复活了，这样，那最后的迷惑就要比先前的更厉害了。”

从那时候起，耶稣开始向他的门徒们指示他必须到耶路撒冷去，经受长老们、祭司长们和经文士们的很多苦害，并且被杀，然后在第三天要复活。

以为他在同行的人群中。他们走了一天的路，才开始在亲戚和熟人中找他。他们找不到他，就回到耶路撒冷去找。
