He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;but he will judge the poor with righteousness, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.

The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The child Samuel grew on, and increased in favor both with Yahweh and also with men.

But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts.

All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

Who has believed our message? To whom has Yahweh’s arm been revealed?For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no good looks or majesty. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.

The woman bore a son and named him Samson. The child grew, and Yahweh blessed him.

But Samuel ministered before Yahweh, being a child, clothed with a linen ephod.

You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, therefore God has blessed you forever.

that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.

You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
